Instructional Programs:
Odessa Country Club offers a variety of golf instruction programs for golfers of all ages and abilities. Our Professional Staff is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and providing a fun learning environment. We can assist you in improving any area of your game including: the full swing, chipping, pitching, putting, bunker shots, mental aspects and golf course management, and knowledge of the rules and etiquette. Private Golf Lessons:
Private lessons are available to golfers of all ages and playing abilities. Individual lessons provide golfers with one on one instruction from any of our Professional Staff. Whether you want one lesson for a little help, or a series of lessons for total game improvement, our staff will help you to reach your golfing goals.

Group Lessons:
For individuals wishing to take private lessons together, group lessons may be right for you. This is a great way to learn the game with friends and family. Please call the golf shop for prices or more information.
Playing Lessons:
No lesson program is complete without instruction on the golf course. Course instruction enables the instructor and student to take learning to the next level. The focus of playing lessons is to help golfers with situations and shots on the course to directly lower their score. Players will learn aspects of golf course management and how to handle certain types of shots that are out of the ordinary or that give golfers trouble.
Non-Member Lessons:
Lessons to non-members are available on a limited basis. We encourage and appreciate each member referring their friends and family to our staff of professionals for their golf instructional needs.
"May" Your Game Improve:
During the month of May, our Professional Staff will conduct free coed golf clinics. These clinics will be on Friday afternoons from 5:30 - 7:00.
Also during the month of May, our staff will give free 15 minute lessons. These free lessons will be conducted by different staff members at scheduled times thoughout the Month. Call the Golf Shop to sign up for your free lesson.
Every member is welcome to come out and take advantage fo this free instruction to get your game ready for the summer.
Ladies' Clinics:
Ladies' Golf Clinics provide a fun and relaxed setting. The clinics are designed to cover all aspects of the game to fit the ladies' priorities. Time is spent on all areas of the short game, long game, golf course management, and the rules.

In addition, on Tuesdays in July, our staff will provide a short clinic before the WGA play days. After the clinic, our pros will join the ladies for 9 holes of golf for some on course instruction and fun.
Junior Private Lessons:
Junior golf is always one of our top priorities. We want every junior golfer of Odessa Country Club to learn and enjoy the game. We keep our junior instruction rates low and affordable on all programs. This includes private lessons. Private junior lessons are discounted 50% from each of our instructors' normal fees.
Junior Camps & Information:
We have a variety of junior golf programs to help your child learn the game and have fun. Our two junior golf camps are as follows:

Juniors will learn about all aspects of the game including the long game, chipping, pitching, putting, bunker shots, course management, etiquette, and rules.
Summer Junior Development Program:
We offer a summer long Junior Golf Program at Odessa Country Club called Junior Development. This program runs every Thursday from June 18 - August 13. In Junior Development, juniors will receive a short instructional clinic followed by time on the golf course. You may attend as many or as few of the classes as you wish, just call the Golf Shop the day before the class to sign up.

North Texas PGA Junior Tour:
The NTPGA Junior Tour provides junior golfers the opportunity to play in golf tournaments all throughout North Texas, including several in West Texas. The NTPGA teaches thousands of children the positive aspects that accompany learning and playing the game of golf in a tournament atmosphere. Integrity, discipline and social responsibility are lessons applied not only to golf, but life in general. The NTPGA has structured tournaments for juniors ranging from the ages of 7 - 18.
